I have been doing a count from videos of the tanks and other vehicles present at the ambush at Brovary on 9 March and the count of their losses. The main video is here: Russian tanks seen being ambushed on outskirts of Kyiv, Ukraine – YouTube.
I have also looked at 2) The Telegraph “Ukraine destroy Russian tank column in Brovary near Kyiv,” 3) The Sun “Ukrainian town of Brovary near Kyiv littered with destroyed Russian tanks,” 4) ABC News “Russian tanks, armored vehicles ambushed outside Kyiv,’ 5) CNN “’Structured ambush’: Video appears to show strike on Russian tanks,” and 6) ITV News “’Russian commander killed’ as military vehicles destroyed near Kyiv’s outskirts.” There is probably more I should be examining.
Anyhow, I did get a count of the Russian column consisting of at least 11 T-72s and 33 BTRs, APCs and other vehicles. It appears to me that three T-72s were hit in the ambush as were two other vehicles. One video later shows one T-72 captured.
I gather we are looking at Russian casualties as maybe up to a dozen men killed or wounded.
Counting tanks is not my forte. Does anyone else have a better count?
Wasn’t there a compiled list by Oryx, with photo evidence:

Yea, but I haven’t clicked through it looking for the Brovary cases. I don’t think he has done a separate accounting for Brovary. Also interested in confirming my count of equipment present.
